Ambassador Spotlight: David Yi

David is an active duty Navy Corpsman who has been both with the "green side" as a Devil Doc and "blue side" recently serving as a Command Career Counselor to the sailors at Annapolis, Maryland. I met David while I was stationed on the USS Iwo Jima, while he was with the 6th Marines of Camp Lejuene, North Carolina. I saw personally how this man took care of his sailors and how he set the example for them to follow.  What have you been up to? Where are you stationed at now? After I left 3d Battalion 6th Marines I PCSed to Annapolis where I am currently the Command Career Counselor and DFA LPO. So what are you doing to...

Ambassador Spotlight: Daniel Prude

Daniel and I met while I was stationed onboard the USS Iwo Jima. We worked together for a couple years before he transferred to Field Medical Training Batallion - East (FMTB-E). From my experience working with him, he was the one person who the leadership counted on. He was a leader in his own right, mentoring his junior sailors and passing on his knowledge of the tasks at hand. Now he is shaping the future of our Corpsman at FMTB-E, who will be charged to take care of their Marines once they graduate and earn their title as "Doc."   What have you been up to? Where are you stationed at now?Living day by day....working along side the world's...

Ambassador Spotlight: Nicole Gonzalez

Get to know our very own Nicole Gonzalez   I met "Gonzo" while I was stationed onboard the USS Iwo Jima from 2013 to 2016. We checked in right around the same time when the ship was dry docked at Norfolk, VA. During our time on the Iwo, we left dry docked, changed homeport, went underway countless times to prepare for deployment, deployed and then back to the barge after deployment. Working with her, I can tell you this chick is a strong and intelligent woman who also isn't afraid to speak her mind. I recently talked to her to check up and see how she's doing now as a civilian. What have you been up to? What are you doing now?Currently, I'm attending...
